Placed at entrances and exits to garbage and human waste treatment plants, two or three layers of automatic doors enhance compartmentalization and contribute to improved air conditioning efficiency, as well as protecting surrounding environments from unwanted odors.

Vehicles proceeding inside on green light signals are detected by a loop coil switch buried in the ground, leading the door to open. Once the vehicle has entered, unloaded its cargo and proceeds to the exit, the floor sensor detects it and opens the door, allowing the vehicle to exit. If too many vehicles are in the building, the exterior traffic signal will change to a red light and prevent new ones from entering. To prevent outflows of air from the building, the entry and exit doors are synchronized so that only either door is open at any one time.
